Aroma Magic Mineral Glow Scrub | Beauty Review

Constant onslaught of dirt and pollution is one of the biggest issues we all face. In past couple of years,my skin (especially nose and chin) has also become extremely prone to blackheads and whiteheads (my college days were surprisingly blackheads free!) So I am always in search of a good scrub. Over the years, I have had good results with Everyuth and Himalaya Apricot or Walnut scrubs as well as VLCC Skin Defence Indian Berberry Scrub but then again,my super sensitive skin also breaks out sometimes on using those granular scrubs.

This is where Aroma Magic Mineral Glow Scrub comes into play. I have been using this scrub on and off for over 4 years now and it does a great job, enough to be called the Holy Grail Scrub for almost all skin types in India. I buy it either from Flipkart or Amazon and it is quite easily available online at least at a very reasonable price of Rs. 140 for 100 ml :)

Claims include Reducing fine lines, Remineralizing and Brightening with Ingredients like Cornflour, Grain Almond Meal, Rice Bran Oil,Glycerin and Aqua Minerals plus Essential Oils of Green Tea,Rose & Lavender working naturally to buff skin and make it healthy plus nourished. Packaging is wonderful to carry around, comes in a tube so no hygiene issues either and quantity is enough to last a month when used twice or thrice a week on face and neck.

All Aroma Magic products are based on aromatherapy and Mineral Glow Scrub also has a distinct smell which might be too much for too sensitive noses. It is neither pleasant nor unpleasant, rather it is just strong and linger for some time. The scrub itself is mild green in color and has thousands of small abrasive particles, which seem gentler than the rough almond or walnut granules but could hurt sensitive skin as much as any rough scrub. What I do is just lather it over my face, leave it for 15 minutes and wash it off with mild pressure. Instant smoothness, soft, supple skin revealed with a thin film of moisture, perfect for dry skin but maybe not so for oily skin :D

The best part about it is how instantly cleaning yet moisturizing it is without having loads of nasty chemicals. In fact the ingredients list is choc-a-bloc with only good stuff and that inspires a lot of confidence in the products. Despite leaving behind a tiny film of essential oils, it has never given me acne or pimples of any type and rather soothed my skin. The only thing is that it does nothing to blackheads for which I keep going back to almond scrubs or VLCC Burberry Scrub! Otherwise this would be best scrub in India :)
